Boxing & Brawling: Unarmed Stage Combat Techniques for Beginners

This 2-hour class is a perfect opportunity for beginner and returning students to learn basic unarmed stage combat techniques such as punches, blocks & dodges, elbows, knees, and more. All students will learn useful techniques to safely and effectively show unarmed violence on stage, but also have the opportunity to learn a small choreographed fight to record to show off to their friends and family. Whether you have taken a class with The Pen & Sword before or not, come have fun with us! All are welcome: actors, directors, stage managers, techies, and the curious.

The course will be held on Saturday, April 13, from 1:00 - 3:00 pm at Pentacle Theatre's downtown rehearsal space, located at 197 Liberty St SE in Salem.

$25 per participant. Register soon as space is limited to 20 enrollees, age 14 or older.
